Dutch artists have long been known for their evocative depictions of landscape. This display, which draws entirely on the collections of the National Gallery of Scotland’s Print Room, shows the range and richness of landscapes by draughtsmen from the Netherlands. Beginning with rare sixteenth-century works, the selection encompasses birds’-eye views of astonishing detail to painterly evocations of trees swaying in the wind to typically Dutch scenes of sailboats and windmills.
