"Most women think of any construction project as some sort of occult black art, and it just ain't so. The skills required really are quite minimal and well within the reach of anyone, male or female, even if they have only a modest acquaintance with basic tools.

I do not know why so many women think they cannot undertake basic construction projects ... most women certainly are capable of the sort of project I outlined. I am not putting down women's abilities ... quite the opposite. There is nothing about testosterone that gives men automatic mechanical skills. I wish more women relied less on their testosterone partners and had the courage to undertake such projects themselves.
