Jennie Jackson is currently completing her Doctorate in Visual Arts at the Queensland College of Art. Jackson was highly commended for her work in the 2008 Alice Art Prize and was awared the Theiss Acqusitive Award in 2006.
Jackson is fast becoming recognised for her highly detailed landscapes of mythical forests, engineered from early 19th century fashion plates.
