PICA's annual HATCHED National Graduate Show is the most prestigious and comprehensive survey of new emerging artists in Australia today.

Showcasing some of the country's finest graduates HATCHED 09 presents us with a startling array of art spanning painting, print making, sculpture, installation, photography and video.

INCCA

INCCA is a network of professionals connected to the conservation of modern and contemporary art. Conservators, curators, scientists, registrars, archivists, art historians and researchers are among its members.

Members allow access to each others unpublished information (artist interviews, condition reports, installation instructions etc) through the INCCA Database for Artists' Archives.

This INCCA website www.incca.org contains information on all kinds of activities in the field; projects, seminars and conferences via the news section, educational possibilities as well as links to numerous websites.
The resource section provides direct access to good practice documents such as theoretical articles, case study descriptions and practical guidelines and formats.

Katharina Grosse - Berlin

Le FRAC Auvergne intègre depuis 2003 dans sa programmation d'expositions monographiques des invitations axées sur la création d'oeuvres in situ éphémères. Le FRAC Auvergne a invité Katharina Grosse à réaliser deux expositions consécutives dans l'architecture du 18ème siècle des Ecuries de Chazerat à Clermont-Ferrand.

- Du 26 au 29 novembre 2007, Katharina Grosse a réalisé une oeuvre monumentale sur les murs et le sol des Ecuries de Chazerat.
Cette première exposition a été présentée au public du 30 novembre 2007 au 20 janvier 2008.

- Du 21 au 24 janvier 2008, l'oeuvre a été partiellement détruite puis recouverte d'environ 40 peintures sur papier de Katharina Grosse.
Cette deuxième exposition s'est déroulée du 25 janvier au 16 mars 2008.
